The Oxfam 100km Trailwalker was a real physical and mental challenge. Our team, G n’ 3, finished in 39 hours and 8 minutes with only a 20 minute power nap on a cold hard floor to recharge the batteries at the 60km mark! Launch of the Beer Cartel website is not far off and so preparations for the launch are well under way. We have begun purchasing stock and have had the chance to meet a few great people along the way. One of the stops we made was to Greg Facer at Akuna Brewery in Mona Vale who makes a top Ginger Beer. Two weeks ago, prior to being struck down with swine flu, I was lucky  enough to have a short trip with my girlfriend to Sunny Queensland. We flew to the Gold Coast for a bit of R and R, and to warm up from the Sydney winter. It was a great trip with some incredible weather and even a bit of sunburn thrown in!
